Digital Marketing Tips to Try . . .
1. Make Your Content Visual

2. Plan A Giveaway
Give something of value to your customers but that doesnt mean it needs to be valuable. For example, giving away expensive trips or electronic devices when you run a retail clothing site might not get the target audience you are looking for. A $100 site shopping pass maybe a better idea. Encourage customers to share your giveaway with others by offering them an incentive to share like coupons or discount deals.
3. Make Your Sign Up Form Short and Sweet
People don’t have time to fill out long questionnaires just to sign up for your newsletter. You may want all that info but by making it easy and quick to sign up, more people will follow through to sign up. How many times you have come across a site and in a flash you decide to give your email to receive whatever it is being offered and then change your mind when you have to answer more than 3 questions? I know I have.
4. Optimize Your Site Titles on All Your Pages

7. Create an Affiliate Program
Your affiliate will be given a special link to send traffic to your site. If the visitor makes a purchase on your site, the affiliate will receive a commission. Make the commission rewarding enough to encourage your affiliate to send traffic your way. There are 3 basic types of affiliate programs –
Pay-per-sale – the merchant site pays an affiliate when the affiliate sends them a customer who purchases something.
Pay-per-click – the merchant site pays the affiliate based on the number of visitors who click on the link to come to the merchant’s site and they don’t have to buy anything.
Pay-per-lead – Companies with these programs pay their affiliates based on the number of visitors they refer who sign up as leads. This could mean filling out your site form.
8. Repurpose Content
Good ideas are still good ideas no matter how old they are. Look back at past posts, see which had the highest engagement rate or were shared the most. Chances are there was some value to that post which is still valuable. Repost with updated links, check all links to make sure they still are valid. Better yet, re-design your post into an Info graphic. Canva has a fun new info graphic feature which makes it easy to create, save and share on your networks.
